When can I expect to see results?
On average, our customers see results in 3-4 sessions. However, this could vary based on your skin or hair tone. Customers who have darker hairs and lighter skins tend to see results much quicker.

Your hairs will grow back more sparse and slower after each treatment eventually turning into permanent reduction in hair growth. To maintain hairless smooth skin after that, use the handset once every 2 to 3 months for a touch up or as needed. Results and treatment length needed may vary from person to person.

Is the treatment painful?
One of the biggest advantages of our IPL handset over other types of hair removal is that it is far less painful. The feeling is dependent on many factors and varies from person to person.

The majority of our customers have said they don't feel a thing at the lowest intensity level 1! But only a slight sting at the highest intensity level 8.

This is to say we have 8 intensity levels to choose from, this will allow you to select the most comfortable intensity level for you. We also have a very simple method of determining the perfect intensity level for you and when to work your way up to higher intensities for better results in our user guide.

You will not need to apply a cooling gel before using the PULSALUX LEVIOR.

Can I use it on all areas on my body?
Yes, including Brazilian and face. For those with sensitive skin, we would recommend you to check with your dermatologist if you intend to use the device on sensitive body parts.

Will the device be compatible with my country's power socket?
Your device will come with the power plug of the country you are ordering from.

Are there recurring costs?
No, unlike laser-clinics, our handset is a once-off purchase. There is no need for replacements or refills. Simply plug in and go!

Is there a warranty or returns?
PULSALUX devices come with a 1 year product guarantee. Defective products are eligible for a repair or exchange at no additional cost. 

Usage Information

Should I shave before / between treatments?
Yes, we recommend that you shave the desired areas between treatments and before using your handset. Shaving takes the hair down to the appropriate length whereas not to cause any burns during treatment but also allowing the hair root to get targeted effectively. Other forms of hair removal including waxing and tweezing will remove the hair root entirely. Which won't allow the IPL to target the root.

How often should I use the device?
We recommend usage to be every week as it would take time for the hairs to grow out. Zap frequency depends on how fast your hairs grow out! You can expect the zap frequency to increase as your session increases overtime. 

Does it work on all skin / hair tones?
The PULSALUX Levior is the only IPL model on the market that has 8 levels of intensity to cater to specific skin tones. You will be able to select the setting for the optimal results based on your skin tone.

IPL has a significantly lesser effectiveness against grey, red, and very light blond hair as darker hair has a better competency of absorbing the IPL rays.

What intensity should I use?
We recommend starting at the lowest intensity and working your way up each session, if you get uncomfortable and/or get marks that last longer than a couple days it means that intensity is too high for you and the one below it should work best.

Cleaning your LEVIOR Home IPL
To clean your device, disconnect the device from the electricity supply. Wipe with a clean, dry cloth and 70% alcohol. Never use acetone or other abrasive fluids, because they will damage your device. Then use a wipe to dry the device. Never immerse your handset or any of its parts in water.
